WHAT TO EXPECT...

Freshwater F.I.T. Program
Western Mass Drift Boat Fly Fishing

You will be fishing on a whitewater raft with a custom fishing frame.
One guide in the middle and two anglers, one in the front and one in the back.

No gear or experience necessary,
Guides provide all gear needed.

You will need a Massachusetts Freshwater Fishing License, please bring that.  available at https://www.mass.gov/massfishhunt

Bring clothing for weather.  Sunglasses, Hat, Sun protection. Waders are not necessary but can help to keep warm in the colder months.  No spikes on the boat.  Look at the weather in Western Mass the day before and dress accordingly.

Bring water & lunch unless otherwise mentioned.  (Hager's has a good menu.  You can call on your way and pick it up when we meet.)

This is a free guided trip hosted by Rifles to Rods with the Harrison Anglers.  RTR covers the cost of the guide service, all we ask is if you could, please tip your guide at the end of the day.

Meet up at: Hager's Farm Market or Swift River Boat Ramp.
We usually meet up at 9a.m. and get off the water around 3-4p.m.
